Cruise # 62- "Eastern Caribbean" Cruise onboard "Celebrity Edge"- December, 2018

Just a week or so after she was launched, we sailed onboard "Celebrity Edge" for 7 nights to check out this highly anticipated ship... definitely some interesting new features onboard like the "Magic Carpet", "Eden", "The Retreat", etc. Check out our pictures & videos below (as well as the captions under each of them) to see all the highlights of Celebrity's newest ship! One thing we were impressed with right away was when we arrived at the Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port (Celebrity just had a new terminal built in Fort Lauderdale to celebrate "Edge's" arrival) we were whisked into a private Lounge for guests staying in Suites... it was comfortable, they had drinks & snacks waiting there for us, they had lots of staff there to answer questions, etc. & it helped the time go by in a flash between arrival to port & when the ship starting boarding!

Of course, since this is Edge's "Home" port, you won't experience a lounge like this in every part of the World when you start a Cruise on this ship but no doubt Celebrity will always do something similar to make their "Suite" guests feel welcome right away & to make sure your boarding is expedited!
