Cruise # 60- Rhine River Cruise onboard "Crystal Bach"- July, 2018

As soon as we stepped off of our "Norway" Cruise in London we headed to the airport & flew to Frankfurt to embark on our 60th Cruise which was a 7 night "Rhine" River Cruise on "Crystal River Cruises", which was the last major North American based line that we hadn't yet tried. They promote themselves as "The Most Luxurious River Cruise Line in the World!" Is it true?? **If you click play above you'll get a great look at the 253 sq foot "Deluxe Suite" that we stayed in and is what the majority of rooms are onboard "Crystal Bach" as well as on Crystal Mahler/Ravel/Debussy**

The next thing we noticed was that the room sizes are bigger then on other lines (Most other competitors average between 135-200 sq feet) and ALL of the rooms on this ship are above water level & have a Balcony window that opens... on 4 of their 5 ships (the new ones they built in the last 1-2 years) "Crystal River Cruises" has NONE of the undesirable under-the-water-level rooms like in this video https://gallery.nancyandshawnpower.com/CruiseVacations/Lower-Danube-River-Cruise/i-N4shnLw that ALL the other lines do... FYI, "Crystal Mozart" does have rooms like that with fixed windows but makes up for it by being bigger rooms and it's a much bigger ship then their new ones/their competitors with more public areas not usually found on a River ship.

Again, these bigger rooms is another reason that they can justifiably promote themselves as "Most Luxurious".
