Cruise #s 69 & 71- 5 Night Mexico & 5 Night Dominican Cruises onboard Virgin Voyages' "Scarlet Lady"- December, 2021

After taking dozens & dozens of Cruises, I had never sailed on a "New to Market" Cruiseline before so I was definitely intrigued to try "Virgin Voyages" who had just launched a few months earlier... with no kids allowed onboard, more inclusions then your typical big ship line, the promise of "breaking the Cruising mold", etc. check out my gallery to see what "Virgin Voyages" was all about! There's Virgin Voyages' "Scarlet Lady" Cruise ship which I did two short 5 night Cruises on (with another week-long Cruise on another Cruiseline jammed in between! :-)) over a couple of week period.

FYI, she fits 2,770 guests at full capacity.

This brand new Cruiseline is unique from other big/mass-market ships since it's an Adults Only line (no one under 18 can sail with Virgin Voyages) and includes more in your price compared to other big ships like gratuities for the staff, wifi, soft drinks, water, specialty restaurants, gym classes, etc.

It's as if they're trying to take a small ship "Oceania" type Cruiseline concept & bring it to the mass market/a big ship line... not a bad idea at all!

Personally, I’m NOT a fan of Cruises less than a full week as it's not worth the flight/it's too quick to start properly relaxing, etc. but it was very nice not having kids on board and, as I've always enjoyed all my small ship Cruises, it's never a bad thing having more included in your price upfront/less to worry about once onboard!!
