As per normal with Tauck, we started off our "Grand Australia & New Zealand" Adventure with a "Welcome" cocktail party & dinner... this is always a GREAT way to start your tour so you can meet fellow guests & your "Tauck Director" who'll be guiding you from start to finish.
As we said in our earlier Tauck reviews, MOST other tour companies simply put you up in the hotel on night # 1 and say "enjoy dinner on your own & see you tomorrow when the tour starts!"
Tauck's way is for sure better though as you get things going on the right foot!
FYI, because Tauck has these "Welcome" functions on night # 1 we always fly in at least a day early so we can get used to the time zone & be rested up before night # 1's big event!
