Land Tour # 1- "Pacific Northwest" with Tauck- September/October, 2017
One thing we really enjoyed on our first Tauck trip in April and on this trip too was that night # 1 they welcomed us with a "Welcome" reception & dinner so we got to know our fellow travellers right away. (and also enjoyed a yummy meal!) This is a great thing as we've been on many Cruises over the years that included a land tour before the Cruise and night # 1 was always on our own for dinner and we never met anyone till day 2, early in the morning, which made that morning more rushed and we wasted time.
FYI, in Portland we were treated to a meal at the "Hairy Lobster"... the owner is a pastry chef & loves to bake as you can tell by these rolls and the next 2 pics! :-) (For our main course they brought out a smorgasbord for the group... trout, beef tenderloin, etc.)
